On the 2nd of February we had a Granparents prayer service to pray for all the grandparents. Some people brought in photos and something that reminded them of their grandparents. Rachael brought in a photo of her grandad and a ring that belonged to him. Rebekah brought in a photo of her nanny. Sheena brought in a picture of her granddad. Dara brought in a couple of pictures of him and his brother with their granddad and nanny. Patrica brought a candle in. Hayley brought in a picture of her granddad. Then Father Condon came and said the prayers. Later, we went to the porch and said more prayers. We brought the candle, the crucifix, the pictures and other things. we put them on our little altar in the porch.
