Cake Sale in Stradbally

We had a cake sale in the school on the day of the Halloween holidays, in Mrs. Crowley's old room. There was lots of food in it. It was on Friday 28th of October 2011. We raised money for the school. Sixth class were in charge of counting the money. Mums, dads, neighbours and friends came to buy cakes. We had great fun. There were cakes, buns, chocolate brownies and apple tarts. There were also biscuits, pretzels, scones and all sorts of things. Some of our past pupils came along as well. All the food tasted really good. In the end we raised €341 for the school. Sixth class did a really good job selling the food. The Parents Association did a really good job as well. Some of the parents baked lovely things for us.
