Our Lady of Mercy Pupils Win Gold

Under-9 Girls Athletics:
It was a sunny day in the Friary Dungarvan. I was running in the Munster B’s. I was running for my club West Waterford. There were 5 girls on my team. I came 12th and I got a individual medal. My club got the gold and the county got the silver medal. Altogether West Waterford U-9 girls got three medals that day. Two girls got three Munster medals, two girls got two Munster medals and one girl got one Munster medal.
