The Tortoise And The Hare

One day there was a tortoise and hare. The hare was laughing at how slow the tortoise could go,saying that he was so much faster and had a great running speed. The tortoise smiled and said to the the hare, let us have a race. We will run from here to the pond, and the fox will be the judge. They started to race. In a moment the hare was out of sight. The tortoise was just jogging alone slow and steady towards the finish line. The hare first out ran the tortoise then fell behind of the hare, and he began to eat some plants. The day was warm and the hare lay down for a little nap in the sun saying to himself the tortoise is so slow if he goes past I will see and then I will easily pass him out. When the hare woke up there was no sight of the tortoise. He ran and ran as fast as he could to find the fox congratulating the tortoise at the finish line. The moral of the story is: slow and steady wins the race.
