Lunar Eclipse 2010

On the 21st of December on the Winter Solstice there was a full lunar eclipse. It was visible in Ireland, England, Iceland and America. It was in the sky at 5:30 and 11:05. It was the first lunar eclipse to fall on the Winter Solstice since 1638. It was the first full lunar eclipse since the February lunar eclipse in 2008 which is almost three years ago. There was another lunar eclipse in 2010, which was a partial lunar eclipse on the 26th of June 2010. It was a beautiful sight to see if you were up early enough.
